Hi everyone. Got my new TS 2000 broke in during field day at Kickapoo State Park. The Danville Illinois group made it on WICD Channel 15 from Champaign. I am studying for my General, taking the exam soon. Have just got my back-up Icom 706. So I now have my original 706 in my truck(sweet) with a dual band. My TS 2000 is back in the bedroom and I made my 1st 10 meter SSB contact with a Louisiana station. So maybe my Butternut vertical will reach out to my South Jersey friends. 73 everyone.
